Authenticity and sustainably produced regional foods are at the heart of the cuisine served by the Übergossene Alm Resort. Our head chef Christian Herzog has been making sure of that. Where once, according to legend, the dairymaids laid a cheese pathway, he creates wonderful dishes from tender young Pinzgau beef. And as recounted in the legend, the smell of fresh bread and hand-picked berries still wafts from his kitchen, oriented on healthy cuisine. Legendary romance and fine wines from the cellar round off the sophisticated atmosphere and fine dining available to you at the four star superior hotel. 

The restaurant spoils its guests with regional delicacies and culinary highlights, reflecting the changing seasons. These special menus are all accompanied by selected wines. The wide range of fine wines in the four star superior hotel's cellar has been chosen with the greatest care. The hotel landlord himself watches over the red, white and rosé treasures slumbering in the depths of the cellar. Our sommelier will also be pleased to assist you at all times. You are very welcome to buy any of our wines from our own wine shop.
