A fabulous natural paradise, steeped in history, in the heart of the Austrian Alps: the four star superior hotel Übergossene Alm in Dienten, Salzburg province. The hotel is located at the foot of the spectacular Hochkönig mountain, just one hour from the Festival City of Salzburg. Even the hotel address promises happy holidays: the spacious hotel complex is at the Sonnberg, at 1,250 metres altitude, surrounded by the Hochkönig Alpine meadows. Our only neighbours are the ski lift leading to the Hochkönig ski region, the in-house Ski School TOP and the Schneggbauer farm. Of course we mustn’t forget His Majesty the Hochkönig, a spectacular mountain range with towering pinnacles and a glacier called the Übergossene Alm.
By car
Enjoy the beautiful panoramic route when travelling to us by car. Traffic jams are rare on the route to Bischofshofen, after which you follow a magnificent winding pass road to the Dienten saddle where the Übergossene Alm is situated. Please don't forget snow chains in case of wintry conditions! A motorway toll sticker is required on Austrian motorways and express roads. You can of course park in our hotel garage.

By rail
For an environmentally friendly and relaxing journey, travel to Bischofshofen railway station on the train. Upon arrival, please call the Übergossene Alm Resort reception at Tel. +43-(0)6461/230-0. We will be pleased to arrange a transfer by taxi.

- Fly to Salzburg or Munich - we will organise your transfer from there to Dienten and the Übergossene Alm Resort. Please inform the Alm team about your times of arrival in good time, as well as the number of guests, so that the taxi can fetch you from the airport punctually.
