There are a host of bathing amenities to be enjoyed at the foot of the Hochkönig: a solar-heated bathing biotope, an indoor pool with an outdoor section, a refreshing Kneipp area, as well as a large swimming pond all make the four star superior hotel Übergossene Alm a legendary wellness experience.
Solar-heated swimming pond
During the warm summer months, you'll enjoy yourself most swimming in the solar-heated biotope. The heated swimming pond has excellent water quality from mid-May to the beginning of October, surrounded by unspoiled nature. Swim for as long as you like, doing what you like - with our wonderful garden for lounging and playing directly adjacent on around 10.000 m².
Alm lake at the foot of Hochkönig moutain
The Alm lake is another great place to swim on hot days: This natural lake is perfect for a relaxing swim, or just to discover flora and fauna. Children can explore the greenery on the banks of the lake. A small boat takes you to the jetty where you can sunbathe, and during the summer, an illuminated walking path takes you around the Alm lake and the bathing biotope, which comprise ca. 5.200 m² full of bathing pleasure.
Kneipp pool "Jungbrunn"
After your sauna visit, we recommend using the "Jungbrunn" Kneipp pool next to the Hochkönig sauna in the sauna village to stimulate the circulation and revitalise tired limbs. The Kneipp therapy (also known as “Kneipping”) is a traditional curative method that includes stimulating circulation through cold water.
