Senior partner Alois Burgschwaiger (shown in the portrait) and his wife Anna were amongst the first tourism entrepreneurs in the tranquil Alpine village of Dienten. Amongst their many achievements, they are responsible for the Übergossene Alm Resort having retained its authentic character. The natural surroundings and fresh mountain air at the foot of the Hochkönig give visitors a genuinely Alpine experience and allow them to enjoy their holiday at a slower pace.

Alois Burgschwaiger didn't just expand a small guesthouse on an Alpine meadow into a four star superior hotel, he also developed the region around the hotel for skiing. His activities included building the Liebenau lift and he played a major role in the construction of the Hochkönig lift (Mühlbach-Dienten-Maria Alm).

The Burgschwaigers started off in a small way, and after a lot of work and effort, assisted by very committed staff and friends, they made the Übergossene Alm Resort what it is today.

Wolfgang Burgschwaiger supervises the smooth running of all strategic and operative hotel work - he has a lot to do in the back-office too - for example, budgeting, controlling etc. Wolfgang's sister Petra Kirchmayr lives in Salzburg with her family, and together with her brother is responsible for planning long-term goals relating to the resort. She often visits the Übergossene Alm Resort together with her children.
