The Hotel is situated above the village of Dienten at the Hochkönig Mountain in the Salzburg region, district of Pinzgau in a quiet location by a pass road with very little traffic. The Alpinresort & Spa Übergossene Alm lies at the foot of the mountain massif of Hochkönig Mountain at 1,240 metres. There are ideal connections for arriving by car, train or plane.

The Alpinresort & Spa Übergossene Alm has 84 rooms – of which 18 are apartments.

All rooms are furnished with an attention to detail in the typical style of the Salzburg region and offer: a seating area, balcony and partly a tiled stove. 19 rooms are garden rooms (including one suite). All garden rooms are furnished in the modern Alpine style – clean lines, dark wooden floors and minimalist furniture adorn the suites and rooms.

The restaurant at the Hotel Übergossene Alm is divided into several parlours and winter gardens, all of which are non-smoking areas.

The culinary treats programme with the All-inclusive Alpine Pamper Package begins in the mornings with a large breakfast buffet and daily changing themes. At lunchtime small snacks and dishes can be ordered a la carte. Included in the half-board price is the extensive Alm-tea, which offers hot and cold dishes, salads, cakes, hot beverages and soft drinks from 1pm – 5pm every day free of charge. During evenings, you can choose from the Choice-Menu depending on your personal preferences: Austrian cuisine, international specialties, vitalising whole foods and vegetarian menus. Themed evenings and popular events such as the Kitchen Party provide variation. The carefully appointed wine cellar with selected drops has the right wine to go with your food. Take an aperitif or an after dinner drink at the bar located in the open fire place hall, where you can enjoy from wines, international spirits, cocktails, coffees and soft drinks throughout the day. The bar in the open fire place hall is also a sanctuary for smokers – here you can smoke – even cigars.

During summer the sun terrace and the restaurant Übergossene Alm is also open to hikers, daytrip makers and motorbike fans, who are not staying at the hotel. During the evenings, external guests are also welcome to consume a dinner from the half board dinner menu . For coffee and cake at the hotel bar there is no need to book a table – the Alm-team is always ready to welcome you at any time!

The Sauna Village of the Hotel Übergossene Alm entices with eight different types of saunas. The treatments – massages, baths and cosmetics – are totally dedicated to Alpine wellness. Regional spices and essences are used during the treatments but also for the construction of the spa area, regional materials from surrounding nature dominate. Further highlights include: indoor and outdoor pools, whirlpool, spa showers, a spacious relaxation area as well as a special Room of Senses, furnished by following all the relevant criteria of the Alpienne wellness philosophy, and the rustic Sonnalm. The cosmetics used are brands that fulfil the high standards of the Übergossene Alm: Maria Galland, QSM! and Alpienne.

The Alpinresort & Spa Übergossene Alm has numerous options for indoor and outdoor sports.

The offering indoors include: the gym equipped with cardio fitness machines; indoor tennis courts; table tennis and indoor pool. During the winter, the Übergossene Alm lies right at the heart of the Hochkönig ski region, the sports shop Klaus and the ski school TOP round off the sports on offer. For non-skiers there are extensive winter programmes with activities like snowshoe hiking. During summer hiking is the number one holiday activity in the Hochkönig region of Austria. The Alpine hiking service offers at least five guided hiking tours per week and supplies the right equipment free of charge. Ideal conditions are also found for mountain biking, Nordic walking and golf fans who can play on six different golf courses within a mere 30 minute drive by car.

A natural swimming lake on a sun-exposed hillside offers the possibility of spending a day swimming directly at the hotel. Children love the swimming lake; due to its natural shores and since there are so many things to explore. In addition, there is a rowing boat available for young captains!
