Sauna oasis in the Wellness & Spa Hotel Smell the essence of natural wood, enjoy the warmth, feel the relaxation of your muscles and how you breathe easier and calmer – you will experience these sensations in the farmer’s parlour sauna or the seriously hot devil’s sauna. Especially during the cold season, when the cold weighs us down, your body needs a lot of warmth. Complementing the sauna experience is the gemstone bath that offers pure relaxation. You will find an ocean-fresh source of health in the salt grotto where sea salts are atomised for your bronchia.
Devil’s sauna with a view of the majestic mountainscape
After an active day you find the ideal place for rejuvination within the devil’s sauna at Hotel Übergossene Alm. For “complete enjoyment” the infusion is the highlight of your sauna visit: strong natural aromas are good for your circulation, support detoxification and care for your skin and respiratory organs. The view into the unique mountain scenery surrounding the Hochkönig summit in Austria will enchant you during your sauna visit.
Relaxation in the farmer’s parlour sauna and the dry roman sauna
Sauna in the Wellness & Spa hotel You will find a comfortable sauna atmosphere within the farmer’s parlour sauna, where you will find an ambience offering alpine natural woods and a tiled stove. For those of you, who cannot visit the normal saunas, because they are too hot – have the chance to visit the farmer’s parlour sauna or the roman dry sauna. Here you can still enjoy all the benefits offered by a sauna visit, but in a more gentle and soft way; without having to face high temperatures.
The pleasant heat of 75° Celsius, coming from the walls also aids the sweating process and leads to relaxation and rejuvenation of your body. The mild sauna pleasures can be rounded off with a mild herb bath.
Sauna village opening times:
Daily from 10am until 7pm. Between 10am and 1pm two saunas are open for you, afterwards all eight are open. During bad weather the team at the spa hotel Übergossene Alm will heat the saunas earlier for you.
