Cable cars & lifts in the Hochkönig region Start your hiking expeditions at one of the higher termini of the four cable cars at the Hochkönig Mountain. Soak up the amazing panoramic views during your cable car ride and spend relaxing hours on one of the alpine chalets’ sun terraces.
From June to October you will speed up into Hochkönig’s mountain kingdom and let your eyes rest on the summits and valleys within the region.
Discover lush green alpine pastures, colourful alpine flowers or a cheeky marmot. The higher termini of the Hochkönig cable cars are starting points for a large number of great hiking tours and walks to the alpine chalets and mountain restaurants, which are particularly inviting with their great sun terraces and culinary specialties from the Salzburg region.
